DWELLING UNIT: A space within a building as defined in Section 10-2-2 of the Village's Zoning Code, as amended. This section declares short-term rentals in Glenwood to be a public nuisance and a danger to public safety, health, welfare, and morals. It allows the village to abate such nuisances using various remedies, including injunctive relief, and to recover costs, expenses, and attorney fees from the short-term rental owner.

addition to the other provisions of this article and Code, it is hereby declared a public nuisance and danger to the public safety, health, welfare, and morals of the village and its residents to permit any short-term rental within the village. Therefore, the operation of any short-term rental within the village in violation of this chapter is a public nuisance and shall be abated pursuant to all remedies available to the village, including, but not limited to, injunctive...relief. In addition to the penalties provided herein, the village shall be entitled to receive reimbursement for the village's costs and expenses from a short-term rental owner, including reasonable attorney fees, incurred by the village to abate a short-term rental operating as a public nuisance
